Apply for entry pass

If you need access to the ISPS-secured areas for a longer period, you need an entry pass.

The ISPS-secured areas are marked with signs at all gates and entrances. Access to the areas is restricted to authorized persons with a legitimate errand, and we perform regular checks of entry passes and cargo.

Who can get an entry pass?

Entry pass for the ISPS-secured areas are only issued to the following:

  • Companies located in the port areas
  • Employees entering the port areas
  • Hauliers entering the port areas
  • Persons with a need for work-related access to the port areas

Entry passes are issued by Port of Aalborg or by companies authorized by Port of Aalborg to do so. The company must contact Port of Aalborg on tel. +45 99 30 15 20 to have the person registered in our access system. Port of Aalborg’s staff at the Traffic Office will work with the company to quickly outline the individual’s access needs and ensure that they receive an accurate security profile and access to the right areas.

Rules for using the entry pass in ISPS areas

  • Always carry your entry pass with you
  • You must always register your visit. If there are several people together, everyone must register their visit
  • Access is granted by placing your entry pass on the card reader at the relevant entrance
  • Do not enter the facility by following someone driving in front of you without registering your presence
  • At the gates, it is important to wait for the green light before entering with or without a vehicle
  • Only use your entry pass and password for work-related tasks
  • Your entry pass and password are strictly personal and can only be used by you
  • If you lose your entry pass, you must immediately report this to the Port of Aalborg Traffic Office
  • When moving around the port areas outside of ISPS security, entry pass and registration are not required


Always follow the security requirements in the ISPS areas

  • Always wear an approved safety vest or other approved safety clothing
  • Wear safety shoes when near the quayside or at the Oil Terminal
  • Wear a safety helmet when working at height or moving around cranes and the Oil Terminal
  • Do not be
  • present in Port of Aalborg ISPS areas if you have consumed alcohol or drugs
